Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pip Biddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Rodreguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pip Biddle looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pip Biddle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, DJ Rodreguez!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodreguez scores with a jab to the jaw.
Biddle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Biddle shoots in for a double leg but Rodreguez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rodreguez doesn't manage to clinch there - Biddle circles away.
Pip Biddle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rodreguez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Biddle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Biddle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodreguez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodreguez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Rodreguez counters with a left and a right that stings Biddle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pip Biddle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

DJ Rodreguez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rodreguez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
