Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Mufflin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tabor Nok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tabor Nok has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Mufflin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tabor Nok! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nok tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mufflin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mufflin blocks a head kick by Nok.
Mufflin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mufflin content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Mufflin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nok keeps working. Mufflin is really struggling to control Nok but he's trying to hold on to the position. Nok is looking to regain half guard here but Mufflin keeps moving and retains side control. Mufflin prevents Nok from escaping the position. Mufflin trying to control the position but Nok is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mufflin controls the position. Nok is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Nok really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mufflin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mufflin just content to control the position. Mufflin looks up at the clock and then as Nok takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mufflin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nok tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mufflin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nok being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nok tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Mufflin looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Nok holding both Mufflin 's hands and preventing any damage. I really don't envy Nok right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nok is trying to stand back up. Nok is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Mufflin off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Mufflin controls the action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mufflin working for a choke but Nok is defending well. Mufflin keeps control of the position as Nok tries to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mufflin is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Mufflin is hanging on to Nok's back as he tries to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mufflin just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Mufflin.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Nok can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derek Mufflin dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mufflin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nok shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mufflin actively working from the bottom here. Mufflin is positioning himself well to prevent Nok advancing to mount. Nok is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mufflin reverses the position - he's now on top in Nok's guard. Mufflin is working Nok over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Nok is controlling Mufflin's posture. Mufflin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nok tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mufflin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nok is keeping the position for now. Nok keeping moving, preventing Mufflin from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tabor Nok wasn't active enough on the ground. Mufflin shoots in for a takedown but Nok shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Derek Mufflin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mufflin fails with a takedown attempt. Mufflin swats away the attempt to clinch by Nok. Nok shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mufflin keeping moving, preventing Nok from controlling successfully. Mufflin is trying to keep Nok in close.
Nok is fighting to break Mufflin's control of his arms but Mufflin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mufflin working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Nok has passed into half guard!
Nok tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nok seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mufflin trying to hold on to Nok's head to control him but Nok postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mufflin trying to control here.
Mufflin is pressing down on Nok's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nok working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nok looking to sit in guard and control but Mufflin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nok wants to get back to his feet but Mufflin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Nok is breathing heavily. Nok working a defensive guard here.
Mufflin trying to control but Nok is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tabor Nok showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Mufflin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mufflin showed some decent athleticism there. Mufflin is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mufflin trying to control but Nok is having none of it. Mufflin content just to control the position here. Nok really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mufflin controlling from the full mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nok can do anything to dispel that myth. Nok has left one of his arms exposed and Mufflin doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Nok screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
