Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Potapkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Resent RezaZeDe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). RezaZeDe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. King Ring kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Resent RezaZeDe struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Ivan Potapkin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Resent RezaZeDe's chin.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Potapkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Resent RezaZeDe! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! RezaZeDe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Potapkin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! RezaZeDe has his takedown stuffed and Potapkin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for RezaZeDe! Potapkin working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. RezaZeDe defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Potapkin. RezaZeDe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Potapkin has hold of RezaZeDe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and RezaZeDe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
RezaZeDe is desperately trying to improve his position but Potapkin has a good base and remains in mount.

Potapkin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now RezaZeDe is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Resent RezaZeDe. Potapkin avoids the head kick by RezaZeDe.
RezaZeDe shoots in looking for a takedown but Potapkin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing RezaZeDe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Potapkin swats away the attempt to clinch by RezaZeDe. RezaZeDe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. RezaZeDe trying to control from half guard but Potapkin is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potapkin manages to get to full guard.
Potapkin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. RezaZeDe looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Potapkin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. RezaZeDe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. RezaZeDe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. RezaZeDe is looking to stand up but Potapkin won't let him. RezaZeDe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Potapkin swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Potapkin has his foot on RezaZeDe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. RezaZeDe works his way back into a safe position though. Potapkin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Potapkin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and RezaZeDe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by RezaZeDe. Potapkin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. RezaZeDe is aware though and is defending well. RezaZeDe looking to pass the guard. Potapkin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. RezaZeDe defends it easily. RezaZeDe looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. RezaZeDe trying to control but Potapkin is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. RezaZeDe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. RezaZeDe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potapkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Potapkin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Potapkin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in RezaZeDe's guard. RezaZeDe is trying to keep Potapkin in close.

Potapkin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. RezaZeDe has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Potapkin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Resent RezaZeDe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
