Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Roberson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberson comes to the cage accompanied by Rider-G-Unit. Melendez has chosen I Luv It-Young Jeezy as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tyler Melendez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Melendez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Melendez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Melendez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roberson sprawls well initially but Melendez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Melendez wants to pass to mount but Roberson is defending the position.
Melendez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roberson is just riding it out for now. Melendez eventually gives up the hold.
Roberson is trying to get back to full guard.
Melendez uses his free foot to push down on Roberson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Roberson.
