Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Renton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiago Silva!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Renton!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
Renton is controlling Silva's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Silva is pressing down on Renton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Renton is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well Renton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
