Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcapote fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alcapote pinned against the cage. Alcapote gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alcapote tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gracie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alcapote throws a push kick but Gracie slaps the foot to one side.
Alcapote tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Alcapote is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gracie is controlling him.

Gracie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alcapote swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Alcapote is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.
Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gracie pushes down on Alcapote's leg and manages to get into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gracie throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Alcapote has his hands clasped together but Gracie breaks the hold and Alcapote is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Gracie!
