Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Sivkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Mitterer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Mitterer! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sivkov with a lazy takedown attempt and Sivkov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Andrey Sivkov has been cut. Sivkov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mitterer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sivkov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mitterer is keeping the position for now. Sivkov is working hard here to advance position. Mitterer wants to get back to his feet but Sivkov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sivkov throws and elbow that misses. Mitterer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sivkov's guard. Nice move by Mitterer!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitterer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sivkov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sivkov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sivkov! Mitterer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Mitterer is not content to let Sivkov control the position. Mitterer throws Sivkov to one side and escapes! Mitterer walks into a stiff left hand from Sivkov.

Sivkov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mitterer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sivkov is breathing heavily. Mitterer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sivkov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nice strikes from Mitterer there. Sivkov is trying to get back to full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mitterer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. Let's hope that Mitterer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Mitterer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mitterer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sivkov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sivkov looking for submissions off his back. Mitterer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sivkov keeps working.

Kyle Mitterer dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Good leg kick by Mitterer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mitterer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Mitterer looking to finish Sivkov with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sivkov! Sivkov takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Mitterer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sivkov is looking to escape. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mitterer content just to control the position here. Mitterer avoids the attempt from Sivkov to control. Sivkov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mitterer working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mitterer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sivkov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That could mean trouble for Sivkov! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mitterer lands a big shot there that rocks Sivkov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sivkov is in a horrible position here. Mitterer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mitterer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sivkov is looking to escape. Sivkov is bucking up trying to escape but Mitterer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mitterer controlling his opponent. Mitterer has hold of Sivkov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sivkov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitterer cracks Sivkov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Mitterer trying to control but Sivkov is having none of it. Mitterer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sivkov looks a forlorn figure.

And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Mitterer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mitterer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
