Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe comes to the cage accompanied by How could I just kill a man. John Doe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to The Man's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Man! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man misses with a takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Doe gets caught napping as Man dives in and scores a takedown. Doe manages to retain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doe throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Man accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Doe keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully. Man won't allow Doe to sweep him here. Man looking to pass the guard. Man pushing down on Doe's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Doe. Man wants to work for an arm triangle but Doe is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Man is looking for a kimura here.
Man missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Man wants to pass to mount but Doe is defending the position. Man controlling the action here. Man looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Man is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Man tries to pass to full mount but Doe defends it. Man is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Doe is in trouble now - Man has advanced to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Doe has worked his arm free - good work by Doe!
Doe sneaks back into half guard. Doe is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Doe manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Man pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Doe is keeping the position for now. Man wants to control from the top but Doe keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Man has passed into side control.
Man thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Man goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Doe rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Man's guard! Nice work there by Doe! Man keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully. Doe is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Man is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Man dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Man with a lazy takedown attempt and Doe counters with an outside leg kick.
Man takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Man has his takedown stuffed and Doe counters with a series of strikes that sends Man to the canvas! Doe follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Man is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Man tries to land a sweep but no joy. Doe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Doe postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Man is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Doe, into his guard. Doe wants to sweep but no luck. Man pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Doe is keeping the position for now. Man preventing the sweep.

Doe is staying active underneath Man, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Man wants to work for an arm triangle but Doe is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Man is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Doe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Man. Man is breathing heavily. Man is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Doe sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Man thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Doe to regain full guard. Man postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Doe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Doe has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Man has passed into side control.
Man moves into full mount! Doe wants to control but Man is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man get's back to his feet. Man doesn't succeed with the takedown and Doe counters with a nice body shot. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Man. Man throws a left and a right that both miss
and Doe counters with a series of strikes. Man will be more careful next time no doubt. Man gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Doe counters with a nice uppercut. Nice combo by Doe! Oh, that's hurt him - Man falls to the canvas and Doe follows him into side control. Man is still in real trouble! Can Doe finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Man is trying to get back to half guard. Man seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe wants to control but Man is keeping him busy. Man is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doe working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Man tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Man sneaks back into half guard. Man looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Man has his takedown stuffed and Doe counters with a nice low kick that buckles Man's knee momentarily. Man shoots and misses and Doe counters with a one-two to the body.
It looks like The Man has been cut. Man tries to keep at a distance but Doe has taken the fight into the clinch. Doe prevents a takedown attempt there.
John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Man. A left hand lands to the body for Doe.
Doe slows down the pace here.
Doe gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Man is working for takedown but Doe is calmly controlling the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Doe manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Doe. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Doe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A short right from Doe. Come on Doe - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Doe lands with a left to the head. Man is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Doe pulls him back up using the underhooks. Doe is pushing Man up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Man drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Man's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Doe blocks an elbow strike from Man.
Doe displaying some good clinch control by pressing Man up against the cage. Doe lands a nice uppercut. Man looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Man jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doe walks away with a smile on his face. Man gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Man falls off balance throwing a combination
and Doe counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A punch combination from Doe misses. Doe has managed to clinch.
Doe slowing the pace effectively. Doe lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Man. Doe is leaning against Man and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Doe lands a body shot in the clinch.
Doe's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Doe scores with a nice hook to the head. Doe lands with a left to the head. Man is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Doe throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. This has been an exciting period of action! Doe is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Still in the clinch, Doe scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A right handed body shot lands from Doe.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Doe. Doe lands a body punch in the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Doe takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Doe seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Man wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Man has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Doe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Doe has Man pushed against the cage. Man is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Doe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The referee calls for Doe to work.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by John Doe. Man swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Doe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Man gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Doe counters with a left and a right that stings Man. Man throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Doe counters with a nice kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe clinches with his opponent.
Man tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Doe smiles and moves away.
Man shoots and misses and Doe counters with a flying knee. Nice. Man fails with the takedown and Doe counters with a nice body kick. Man misses with a takedown and Doe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Doe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Man can do to turn this around? Doe displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. No joy there for Doe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Man gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Doe counters with a thumping low kick.
And that's the end of the fight! John Doe showed his dominance in that final round. I think Doe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
