Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenshin Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Uoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uoya has chosen Einsamer Hirte as his entrance music. Hitoshi Uoya has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kenshin Suzuki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshin Suzuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hitoshi Uoya! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki walks into a straight right hand from Uoya. Suzuki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Uoya! Suzuki looking to secure an arm triangle but Uoya defends it well. Uoya is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Suzuki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Uoya can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Uoya wants to try and get back to his feet. Suzuki looking to ground and pound but Uoya is blocking nicely. Suzuki lands with some strikes. Suzuki looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uoya is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Suzuki controlling his opponent. Uoya really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Suzuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Suzuki misses with some ground and pound and Uoya recovers position to half guard. Uoya wants to get back to his feet. Still in half guard, Suzuki seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Suzuki slips a nice elbow through Uoya's hands, connecting with Uoya's forehead. Suzuki is working for a submission of some sort.
Suzuki is breathing heavily. Suzuki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Uoya does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Uoya is looking to escape. Suzuki thows a huge punch but Uoya dodges it nicely.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Uoya will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Suzuki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Suzuki prevents Uoya from getting back to his feet. Suzuki wants to pass the guard but Uoya is keeping the position. Uoya wants to stand up but Suzuki is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki passes Uoya's left leg - he's now in half guard. Suzuki escapes and gets back to his feet. A punch combination from Uoya misses. Suzuki feints and then cracks Uoya's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Uoya down. Suzuki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Suzuki is stalling here.
Suzuki tries to score a body lock takedown but Uoya shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Suzuki jumps guard but Uoya stands there with Suzuki around his waist. Suzuki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Suzuki controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suzuki looking to secure an arm triangle but Uoya defends it well. Suzuki looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenshin Suzuki dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Suzuki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Suzuki landing strikes. Suzuki works to advance to full mount. Uoya defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Suzuki wants to control the pace but Uoya is squirming around nicely. Suzuki looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Suzuki controlling the pace for now. Suzuki looking to control but Uoya is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Suzuki working Uoya over with strikes here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Suzuki there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Suzuki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Suzuki stops Uoya from standing up.

Suzuki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Suzuki controls from within his opponent's guard. Uoya is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Suzuki looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A lazy left from Uoya finds it's target. Suzuki fails to land with a series of punches.
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uoya but Uoya pushes him off and we're back to square one. Suzuki shoots in looking for a takedown. Uoya tries to sprawl out of it but Suzuki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uoya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Uoya throws a series of punches but Suzuki moves out of range. Suzuki shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenshin Suzuki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Suzuki connects with a high kick. Uoya swats away the attempt to clinch by Suzuki. Uoya swats away the attempt to clinch by Suzuki. Hitoshi Uoya is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Suzuki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Uoya. An inside leg kick lands from Suzuki. Suzuki lands a head kick. Uoya smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nice takedown defense from Uoya. No joy for Suzuki on that attempt. Suzuki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Uoya misses with a two punch combination.
Suzuki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Uoya's head. Suzuki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Suzuki tries to pass the half guard into mount. Uoya knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Suzuki stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki scores a takedown into full mount! Suzuki controlling the position easily from mount. Suzuki is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Uoya has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Suzuki tries to control but Uoya wriggling away. Suzuki landing strikes, looking to finish! Uoya's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Suzuki looking to control and managing it successfully. Suzuki is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Hitoshi Uoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Suzuki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Uoya avoids the head kick by Suzuki.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Uoya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Suzuki on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Uoya avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hitoshi Uoya has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Uoya looks to land a combination but Suzuki avoids it well. Uoya throws a right hand that Suzuki ducks under and follows up with a left that Suzuki also avoids with ease.
And that's the end of the fight! Kenshin Suzuki showed his dominance in that final round. Well Suzuki has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
