Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Peavler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Will (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peavler comes to the cage accompanied by You're The Best Around. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Will with a lazy takedown attempt
and Peavler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Peavler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Peavler not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Peavler missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Peavler is keen to just control but Will is a slippery customer.
Peavler is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Will as he works his way to full guard.
Peavler engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Will is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Peavler trying to control but Will is working from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Bryce Peavler wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Will with a lazy takedown attempt
and Peavler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Will's guard.
Peavler would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Peavler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Peavler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Peavler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Peavler stays in close to Will's body and controls the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bryce Peavler wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Peavler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Will misses with a takedown
and Peavler counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Will!
Bryce Peavler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Will.

Will is bucking up trying to escape but Peavler cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Will is squirming around, avoiding Peavler's attempts to control the action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Peavler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peavler misses the shot to the body.
Peavler scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Peavler is trying to work for a kimura but Will is defending well.

Peavler thows a huge punch but Will dodges it nicely.

Peavler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Peavler trying to control from Will's half guard. Will has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Peavler is sitting in close to Will's body. Will has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Peavler is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Peavler is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Will.
