PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Head Neesantows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conchito El Guapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neesantows comes into the arena with Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes blaring out of the sound system. El Guapo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bebot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Head Neesantows!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conchito El Guapo!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Neesantows finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Neesantows wants to clinch but El Guapo slips to the side

and El Guapo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
El Guapo preventing the sweep.
El Guapo wants to control from the top but Neesantows keeps moving.
Neesantows is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Neesantows is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neesantows really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Neesantows avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
El Guapo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Neesantows wants to sweep here but El Guapo controlling him for the moment.
El Guapo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
El Guapo slips nicely into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
El Guapo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Neesantows does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
El Guapo prevents Neesantows from improving his position.
Neesantows trying to hold on to El Guapo's head to control him but El Guapo postures up.
El Guapo passes to full mount!
Neesantows knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for El Guapo on the ground.
El Guapo cracks Neesantows with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Head Neesantows has been cut.
Neesantows can't escape the position.
BOOM! El Guapo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Neesantows is rocked!

Head Neesantows's cut is getting worse.
El Guapo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
El Guapo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Neesantows scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from El Guapo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. El Guapo stands and salutes the crowd.
