The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ehtoo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ehtoo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jackson throws a body punch but Ehtoo moves out of range.
Veikko Ehtoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Veikko Ehtoo.
