Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bam Margera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ren Duran is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bam Margera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ren Duran! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Margera is trying to defend but Duran finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Duran has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Duran controlling from the full mount. Margera is desperately trying to improve his position but Duran has a good base and remains in mount. Margera wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Duran struggling to land strikes to the head as Margera covers up. Margera rolls, trying to escape but Duran keeps control of the position.
Margera controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Duran missing with strikes from the back. Duran is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Margera has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Duran thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran looking for the choke but no joy. Duran keeps control of the position as Margera tries to break free.
Margera manages to reverse the position and now he's in Duran's guard. Nice work there by Margera.
Margera wants to pass the guard but Duran is keeping the position. Margera drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Duran manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Margera has Duran in his guard. Duran trying to control the position from guard on top but Margera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duran drops back, looking for a kneebar! Margera looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Margera looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Margera! Margera wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Duran, who protects the arm well. Margera thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Margera tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Margera tries to advance position but instead Duran slips a leg back in to half guard. Margera is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Margera throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Margera is keen to just control but Duran is a slippery customer. Duran wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Duran is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Duran controlling the position well. Margera wants to control but Duran is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Margera is looking for a kimura but Duran is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Margera to get the leverage. Margera is looking to stall here but Duran recovers full guard. Duran looking for a sweep. Not yet Duran, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ren Duran dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A punch combination from Duran misses. Margera misses with an uppercut. Duran thows a body shot but no joy. Duran misses with a takedown and Margera counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Duran! Margera looking for a guillotine from mount but Duran is having none of it. Margera controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Margera is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Duran has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran is squirming around, avoiding Margera's attempts to control the action. Duran bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Duran loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Margera looking to hit a scissor sweep but Duran is one step ahead there. Duran must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Margera pulls Duran in close to prevent any damage. Margera has his foot on Duran's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duran works his way back into a safe position though. Duran thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Duran is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Margera is looking for a triangle but Duran pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Margera wants to sweep but no luck. Duran drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Margera manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Duran has Margera in his guard. Duran keeping moving, preventing Margera from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran keeping full guard, as Margera tries to pass. Duran is trying to control the position but Margera postures up. Duran looking to hit a scissor sweep but Margera is one step ahead there. Margera wants to control from the top but Duran keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Margera fails with the takedown and Duran counters with a nice double leg into side control. Margera won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duran working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Duran thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Duran is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Margera has escaped the position, nice work there. Margera sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Duran is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Margera has managed to free his arm - good work. Margera trying to control but Duran postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bam Margera dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Duran doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duran manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bam Margera. I think Margera has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
