Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hank Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen yes as his entrance music. Fabio Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hank Cole!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Fabio Jones!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole misses with a shot to the body
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cole slips a jab from Jones.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Cole.
Cole tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cole throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Hank Cole will probably get the nod.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Cole tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cole manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Cole slips the punch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cole on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Cole shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Cole with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jones to score with a decent uppercut.

Fabio Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
