Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nath Foly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kale Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foly comes to the cage accompanied by yellow bottom. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nath Foly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kale Johnson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foly shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kale Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Foly was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Johnson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Foly manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Foly advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Foly taking a breather here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foly's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Foly is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A lull in the action here as Foly stalls from top position. Foly trying to control the position but Johnson is working away.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nath Foly. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Foly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Foly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Johnson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Foly! Johnson fails to move to back control. Foly wants to control but Johnson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Johnson controlling the position easily from mount. Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Foly is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position! Foly not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kale Johnson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Johnson throws a lazy head kick and Foly counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Foly. Foly looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Foly trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Nath Foly wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Foly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson won't allow Foly to sweep him here. Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foly swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnson trying to control but Foly is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Foly is retaining full guard. Johnson trying to control but Foly is working from the bottom. Johnson looking to pass the guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kale Johnson wasn't active enough on the ground. Foly gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foly won't allow Johnson to pass to mount. Foly is concentrating on defense, preventing Johnson from advancing position. Foly is not content to let Johnson control the position. Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Foly kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Kale Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Foly with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foly keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Johnson is looking to advance position but Foly has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Foly tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kale Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Foly keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Foly is keeping the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson looking to sit in guard and control but Foly gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foly controls the pace. Johnson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Johnson is working an open guard so Foly takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Foly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A momentary lapse in concentration from Foly enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Foly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Foly is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Johnson is stalling in the full guard. Foly pulls Johnson in close to his closed guard and prevents Johnson from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Foly tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nath Foly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson working away. Johnson trying to control the position but Foly is working away. Johnson swings around for an armbar but Foly sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Johnson's guard. Foly sitting in guard, not really doing much.
And that's the end of the fight! Kale Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
