Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ohiru Hultquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ohiru Hultquist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roy Jones! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hultquist lands a head shot. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Roy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones walks into a left hand. Jones scores with a hook to the body. Hultquist takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Hultquist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hultquist keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stands and throws Hultquist's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hultquist defending against the ground and pound. Jones throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jones trying to control the action but Hultquist is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones throws a strike aimed at the side of Hultquist's head but Hultquist avoids it well. Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hultquist to his feet. Hultquist catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hultquist takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Hultquist is breathing heavily. Hultquist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hultquist wants it to stay on the feet. Ohiru Hultquist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Jones. Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ohiru Hultquist is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Hultquist holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Jones tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hultquist avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hultquist kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jones tries for a takedown but Hultquist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hultquist dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hultquist lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Hultquist, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Hultquist against the cage but Hultquist circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Some wild striking there from Hultquist.
Jones wants to clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Hultquist. Ohiru Hultquist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Jones. Hultquist connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ohiru Hultquist is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hultquist catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hultquist tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch. Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hultquist prevents it.
Hultquist is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hultquist lands a lovely overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A combination from Hultquist does no damage. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones throws a combination that misses and Hultquist counters with a series of strikes. Jones will be more careful next time no doubt. Hultquist lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
Hultquist bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head. Hultquist misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a head kick. That will keep Hultquist thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! A left lands for Hultquist. Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hultquist counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hultquist fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hultquist looks to land a combination. Jones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hultquist sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hultquist shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Hultquist to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jones scores with a head kick.
Hultquist ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Hultquist moves out of range easily. Hultquist takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hultquist paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hultquist scores with a punch to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones looks for a takedown but Hultquist sprawls well. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Hultquist moves out of range easily. Hultquist lands a body shot.
Nice shot lands for Hultquist. Hultquist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hultquist wants it to stay on the feet. Hultquist misses with a wild combination.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Hultquist tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hultquist manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hultquist lands a two punch combo.

Ohiru Hultquist dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Jones connects with a high kick. Jones moves into range and clinches up with Hultquist. A frustrated look appears on Hultquist's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hultquist fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hultquist displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hultquist scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ohiru Hultquist is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hultquist throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Ohiru Hultquist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Jones. Hultquist shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hultquist walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A combination from Hultquist does no damage. Some wild striking there from Hultquist.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hultquist is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Hultquist circles away and we're back to standing. Hultquist scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones clinches. Jones tries to pull guard but Hultquist won't allow it.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice straight punches there by Hultquist. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hultquist. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hultquist.
Hultquist swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Hultquist circles away.
Jones is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hultquist is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hultquist sprawls well. Hultquist wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Jones shoots in but Hultquist avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jones misses with a body punch
and Hultquist counters with a stiff right hand. A right-left combo lands from Hultquist. Jones tries for a takedown but Hultquist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones tries to clinch up. Hultquist lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
And that's the end of the fight! Ohiru Hultquist showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hultquist has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
