Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Veikko Ehtoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen PLANK! Self Harm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ehtoo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ehtoo wants to get up but he can't break Jackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ehtoo defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ehtoo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Ehtoo controlling him for the moment.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ehtoo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Ehtoo's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Veikko Ehtoo.
