The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Steinbeck lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zygan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zygan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Steinbeck connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zygan. Zygan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Steinbeck looking to score a takedown here. Zygan is defending well but Steinbeck drives through and ends up in Zygan's guard.
Steinbeck trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Steinbeck wants to stand and escape but instead Zygan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Zygan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Zygan pushing down on Steinbeck's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Steinbeck is in trouble now - Zygan has advanced to mount!
Steinbeck is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zygan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Steinbeck has left one of his arms exposed and Zygan doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Steinbeck screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
