Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez looks to land a left hand but Wright moved out of range nicely.
Wright misses with an uppercut
and Cortez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wright misses with a combination
and Cortez counters with an inside leg kick.
Wright misses with a lunging right hand
and Cortez counters with a straight right hand.
Wright walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wright misses with a hook
enabling Cortez to counter with a crisp jab.
Wright uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cortez.
Wright misses with a combination
and Cortez counters with an inside leg kick.
Wright drops Cortez with a beautiful combination! Cortez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wright is looking for the KO!
Cortez is rocked!
It looks like Pancho Cortez has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wright misses with a left hand
and Cortez makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Oh Cortez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wright swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cortez counters with a nice uppercut.
Wright throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cortez counters with a stiff right hand.
Cortez seems to have got his legs back now.
Wright feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Cortez crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
