Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sydal changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sydal misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sydal throws a front kick that sends Stanson stumbling back into the cage.
Sydal connects with a leg kick. Stanson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Stanson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sydal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stanson doesn't seem bothered though.
Sydal jabs Stanson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Sydal. Those never looked like landing.
Sydal dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stanson is breathing heavily.
Sydal's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sydal duly obliges.
It looks like Brian Stanson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sydal throws a leg kick which misses Stanson's front leg but catches the back leg as Stanson tries to avoid it.
Sydal throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Stanson stumbling backwards into the cage! Stanson bounces back off the cage towards Sydal, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Sydal lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Sydal celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Matt Sydal!
