3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ahmed Hussein! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Argos Bloodfist! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Hussein. Hussein is looking to take a break and control but Bloodfist is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hussein is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bloodfist has escaped the position, nice work there. Hussein passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bloodfist! Hussein misses with a head shot. Hussein could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bloodfist tries to control Hussein's body but Hussein pushes him off. Bloodfist squirms to his side and now Hussein has his back! Bloodfist preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Hussein. Hussein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hussein looking for the choke from the back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bloodfist tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bloodfist is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hussein jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bloodfist manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hussein trying to control the position but Bloodfist is working away. Bloodfist tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Hussein goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bloodfist rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hussein's guard! Nice work there by Bloodfist! Hussein looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hussein is breathing heavily. Bloodfist trying to control the position from guard on top but Hussein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hussein has his foot on Bloodfist's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bloodfist works his way back into a safe position though. Hussein has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bloodfist is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hussein. Bloodfist lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hussein tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ground and pound from Bloodfist seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hussein is looking to regain half guard here but Bloodfist keeps moving and retains side control. Hussein is not content to let Bloodfist control the position. Hussein prevents Bloodfist from moving into mount. Bloodfist goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hussein rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bloodfist's guard! Nice work there by Hussein! Hussein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hussein looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hussein looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bloodfist is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bloodfist wants to get back to his feet. Bloodfist is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hussein pulls his head out easily. Bloodfist is looking to improve his position.

Bloodfist is staying active underneath Hussein, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hussein passes the guard and advances to mount! Bloodfist reaches up to try and control the position but Hussein seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bloodfist rolls and tries to escape and now Hussein has his back!
Hussein has his arm under Bloodfist's chin here. Game over son! Hussein squeezes tightly and Bloodfist is forced to tap out!
