The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beowulf connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mahal blocks a low kick nicely.
Mahal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beowulf sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mahal takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mahal misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Beowulf counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Beowulf scores with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mahal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Beowulf's corner calls for a 1-2. Beowulf obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mahal misses with a combination
and Beowulf counters with a thumping low kick.

Mahal throws a lazy head kick
and Beowulf counters with a body kick that stops Mahal in his tracks momentarily.
Mahal is breathing heavily.
Mahal takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Beowulf scores with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A shot to the liver by Beowulf. Beautiful body shot.
Beowulf lands a big head kick that sends Mahal tumbling to the mat! Beowulf takes a step backwards and waves Mahal back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mahal is rocked!
It looks like Taj Mahal has been cut.
Beowulf drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Mahal's head, knocking him out cold! Beowulf is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
