The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cesar wants to slow Quagmire down by chopping away at his legs.
Cesar shoots for a double leg takedown but Quagmire sprawls well. He's pushed Cesar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Quagmire looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Quagmire missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Cesar tries to roll over but Quagmire keeps him under control.
Cesar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cesar.
Cesar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Quagmire gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Quagmire slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cesar is looking for a sweep. Quagmire is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
