Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron St James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Peters might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to BringThe Pain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron St James!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St James lands with a nice body punch.

Peters shoots in and bounces St James off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
St James looking for a sweep. Not yet St James, not yet.
Peters slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Peters working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
St James tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Peters wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Peters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so St James is just riding it out for now. Peters eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Peters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

St James gets caught napping as Peters dives in and scores a takedown. St James manages to retain guard.

Peters is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! St James is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! St James has escaped and now he's on top!

St James lands a couple of digs.

St James working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Peters's head.

Peters working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. St James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. St James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Peters looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

St James throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Peters has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing St James to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Peters is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - St James pulls down on the head and he's put Peters to sleep! This one is all over!
