The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cyrus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and September counters with a left to the body. Cyrus misses with a takedown attempt and September counters with a nice uppercut. Cyrus shoots and misses and September connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miley Cyrus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cyrus lands a really nice looking cross but September seems unphased.

September regains half guard, as Cyrus was trying to land strikes. Cyrus winds up and cracks September with a swinging punch to the side of the head. September keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cyrus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. September defending well though. Cyrus trying to control from September's half guard. September has other ideas though and has regained full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cyrus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as September works some decent striking defense from the bottom. September has momentary wrist control but Cyrus slips an elbow through the middle. Cyrus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cyrus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cyrus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. September working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cyrus. Cyrus looking to sit in guard and control but September gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cyrus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cyrus manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Cyrus misses with a head shot. Cyrus is in the full mount, landing strikes. Cyrus lands a heavy elbow. Cyrus misses with a head shot. Cyrus throwing strikes here but September is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cyrus throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for September because Cyrus loaded up on that one. September is in a horrible position here. Cyrus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
September tries to hold on but Cyrus pushes him away. Cyrus looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has September covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
