Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoine Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen Shook Ones Part II by Mobb Deep as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mateus Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antoine Wallace! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace is not content to let Gracie control the position. Wallace tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gracie wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. Gracie sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wallace is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wallace is avoiding damage well.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gracie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wallace is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mateus Gracie wasn't doing enough on the ground. Wallace wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Wallace. Wallace darts in trying to clinch and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Wallace didn't expect that. Gracie slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gracie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mateus Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wallace is looking to take this fight into the clinch. No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well. Wallace moves out of range as Gracie strikes. Wallace moves out of range of the body kick. Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gracie scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gracie is keen to just control but Wallace is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is pressing down on Wallace's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wallace is holding on for now. Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wallace sees it coming and defends easily. Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Wallace defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie passes to full mount!

Wallace is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wallace is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position! Wallace trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Wallace won't allow Gracie to sweep him here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie passes Wallace's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gracie lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wallace is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mateus Gracie dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wallace doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wallace napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wallace is looking for a sweep. Gracie wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. Gracie is really struggling to control Wallace but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace struggling a bit here. Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working. Wallace tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Wallace tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie trying to control the action but Wallace is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is staying tight to Wallace's torso, preventing him from escaping. Gracie scores with a couple of short elbows. Gracie slows the pace down. Gracie wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. Antoine Wallace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mateus Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mateus Gracie. Wallace wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Gracie tries to bum rush Wallace with a series of wild strikes but Wallace uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A combination from Gracie does no damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Mateus Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
