Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louis Sansom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Bowron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sansom comes to the cage accompanied by Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Louis Sansom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Bowron! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowron has his takedown stuffed and Sansom counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bowron's guard now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sansom wants to get up but he can't break Bowron's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sansom in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sansom throws a strike but Bowron rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bowron wants to control from the top but Sansom keeps moving. Bowron looking to sit in guard and control but Sansom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sansom has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bowron is proving hard to escape from. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bowron can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sansom sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bowron scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Bowron closes the distance looking to clinch and Sansom moves into the clinch. Sansom pulls Bowron into guard.
Bowron wants to control from the top but Sansom keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowron drops back looking for a leg! Sansom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sansom manages to kick Bowron off! Bowron jumps back into Sansom's guard. Bowron scoring with some ground and pound. Sansom avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sansom keeping moving, preventing Bowron from controlling successfully. Sansom wants to stand and escape but Bowron is having none of it. Bowron sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sansom has a closed guard, preventing Bowron from standing up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ryan Bowron. Sansom shoots in and gets a takedown into Bowron's guard. Sansom with a flurry of punches that miss. Sansom missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bowron manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bowron tries for a takedown but Sansom circles away easily and Sansom counters with a takedown into side control. Sansom is breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Bowron's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowron is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Sansom is staying active. Bowron on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bowron is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sansom is controlling him well. Sansom working the ground and pound. Sansom throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Sansom is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bowron has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sansom lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bowron down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Sansom dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bowron tries for a takedown but Sansom circles away easily and Sansom counters by moving into the clinch. Sansom looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bowron blocks an uppercut.

Bowron seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sansom trying to control the position here. Bowron postures up in Sansom's guard and throws a big left but Sansom blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowron trying to control the position from guard on top but Sansom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bowron is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sansom keeping full guard, as Bowron tries to pass. Bowron wants to stand but Sansom is controlling his posture from full guard. Bowron postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sansom is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bowron, into his guard. Bowron is breathing heavily. Sansom postures up and lands a big shot to Bowron's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sansom trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sansom is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bowron is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bowron has escaped and now he's on top! Sansom scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sansom pushes Bowron up against the cage in a clinch. Sansom is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Bowron escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowron shoots in for a takedown but Sansom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Louis Sansom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Bowron. Sansom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bowron tries to clinch but Sansom moves away letting Sansom counter with a right hand. Bowron doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sansom counters with a single leg into guard. Bowron didn't expect that. Bowron is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sansom wants to control from the top but Bowron keeps moving. Sansom works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sansom controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sansom takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bowron wants to control but Sansom is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sansom prevents Bowron from improving his position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sansom lands a nice short elbow. Sansom lands with a punch from half guard. Sansom is trying to control. Bowron wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bowron trying to control from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Sansom dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Sansom controls Bowron momentarily but Bowron frees himself. Bowron trying to control but Sansom is working from the bottom. Bowron gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bowron misses with a head kick.
Louis Sansom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bowron with a lazy takedown attempt and Sansom counters with a shoot takedown. Bowron fights it but they end up in guard. Bowron has momentary wrist control but Sansom slips an elbow through the middle. Bowron working for a triangle but Sansom defends it easily.
Sansom stands up over Bowron, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ryan Bowron has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sansom wants to stand but Bowron is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sansom throws and elbow that misses. Bowron uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sansom's guard. Nice move by Bowron! Sansom keeping moving, preventing Bowron from controlling successfully. Bowron with a flurry of punches that miss. Bowron passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bowron misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Sansom is looking to regain half guard here but Bowron keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bowron works to advance to full mount. Sansom defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Bowron pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Bowron landing punches. Bowron is landing with some decent strikes but Sansom is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bowron trying to control but Sansom is having none of it. Bowron raining down shots from the mount! Louis Sansom is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bowron cracks Sansom with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Louis Sansom showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sansom has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
