Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Gracio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandy Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antonio Gracio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sandy Randy! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracio scores with a push kick. Sandy Randy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Randy is looking to clinch. Randy tries to clinch but Gracio moves away and Gracio counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gracio passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gracio is looking to take a break and control but Randy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gracio is putting a hurting on Randy here, landing some big shots from side control. Gracio decides to stand back up. Gracio steps back and let's Randy get back to his feet. Randy scores with a one two! Gracio had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Randy gets a clinch. Gracio is trying to maintain a safe position but Randy gets an underhook and turns Gracio into the cage. Gracio fails to pull guard.
Randy pressing his opponent against the cage. Randy tries to break free but Gracio pushes him back against the cage. Randy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gracio wants to clinch up but Randy keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randy moves in looking to clinch but Gracio pushes him off. Randy throws an overhand right that lands on Gracio's shoulder, as Gracio tries to avoid the shot. Randy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracio swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gracio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Randy.
Randy looks for a takedown but Gracio sprawls well. Randy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Gracio shoots in but no luck this time. Randy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Randy won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randy looks gassed! Gracio lands a few punches from side control. Gracio is working Randy over with some ground and pound from side control. Gracio in side control lands a decent elbow. Randy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gracio scores with a couple of short elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracio trying to control the position but Randy is working away. Randy is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracio is chipping away with strikes.
Randy is trying to get back to his feet. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Gracio decides to stand back up. Gracio steps back and let's Randy get back to his feet. Gracio throws a head kick that Randy semi-blocks.
Randy rushes Gracio and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Randy tries to stall but Gracio uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Randy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Randy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracio counters with a single leg into guard. Randy didn't expect that. Gracio stands up and waves to Randy to follow him. Gracio closes the distance and clinches. Randy looking for a takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracio wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Gracio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracio closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Randy jumps guard.
Gracio postures up and lands a big shot to Randy's brow. Gracio's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gracio won't allow Randy to get back to his feet. Gracio postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gracio is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Randy wants to stand and escape but Gracio is having none of it. Gracio wants to control from the top but Randy keeps moving. Gracio decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Randy, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracio shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Randy napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gracio working away. Gracio has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Randy fails with the takedown and Gracio counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Randy's guard now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracio is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Randy is looking to stand up but Gracio isn't so interested in that idea. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracio accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Randy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Randy trying to strike off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracio stuffs the takedown. Gracio closes the distance and clinches up with Randy, looking for a takedown. Gracio pushes Randy against the cage but Randy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gracio shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Randy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Randy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gracio passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gracio scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Randy to see if he's OK. Antonio Gracio overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Randy is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randy keeps working. Randy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracio has just dragged him back down to the mat. Gracio controls the position. Gracio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gracio lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. A lull in the action here as Gracio stalls from top position. Gracio trying to control the action but Randy is working from the bottom. Randy struggling a bit here. Randy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Gracio lands some shots froms side control. Gracio is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Randy is trying to escape and Gracio transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Randy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gracio! Very nice indeed!
