Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tito Sparza!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen looks to clinch
and Sparza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.
Sparza misses with a two punch combination.
Bowen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sparza.
Sparza feints and as Bowen raises his hands in defense, Sparza changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bowen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bowen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Sparza looking to sit in guard and control but Bowen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bowen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sparza is proving hard to escape from.

Sparza looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bowen has picked Sparza up and slammed him! Sparza can't keep hold of the triangle and Bowen manages to pass to side control!
Bowen stands up and beckons Sparza to his feet.

and Sparza counters with a three punch combo that has Bowen backing up. Bowen nods at Sparza to acknowledge the strikes.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Sparza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Sparza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bowen.
Sparza closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bowen did well to prevent Sparza getting side control.
Bowen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bowen tries to get out of the position.

Bowen has hold of Sparza's hands but Sparza slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bowen is trying to stand up here but Sparza is controlling him well.

Sparza looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bowen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sparza is trying to work for a kimura but Bowen is defending well.

Makebono Bowen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bowen pushes Sparza off looking to stand but Sparza dives back in and keeps control.

Jeez, Makebono Bowen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Makebono Bowen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
