Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jik Chuyhn Jyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semmy Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jik Chuyhn Jyu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jik Chuyhn Jyu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Semmy Bonjasky!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jyu throws a jab but it's blocked by Bonjasky.
Jyu looks to throw the jab but Bonjasky is out of range.
Jyu throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Jyu lands with a good body shot.
Bonjasky slips a straight right by Jyu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonjasky throws a sloppy head kick
and Bonjasky takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Jyu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jyu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bonjasky sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jyu throws a lazy right hand but Bonjasky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bonjasky throws a solid leg kick but Jyu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bonjasky.
Jyu looks to land a left hand but Bonjasky moved out of range nicely.

Bonjasky ducks under a wild hook from Jyu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Jyu counters with a nice leg kick.
Bonjasky fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jyu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Semmy Bonjasky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jyu misses with an uppercut. Bonjasky saw that one coming.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jik Chuyhn Jyu.
Well Jyu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
