Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danielos Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Melfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by never back down. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Drake Melfred enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danielos Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Drake Melfred! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Melfred throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Melfred finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lee looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Melfred works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Melfred is figuring out what he wants to do next. Let's hope that Melfred has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Melfred throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Drake Melfred was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lee gets caught flat footed, as Melfred shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Melfred drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Melfred off! Melfred jumps back into Lee's guard. Melfred gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Melfred throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Melfred decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Melfred shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Melfred showed some decent athleticism there. Melfred decides to stand and escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Melfred gets in close and instigates a clinch. Melfred has clasped his hands together around Lee's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Melfred controlling the position. Melfred decides to stand back up. Melfred steps back and let's Lee get back to his feet. Melfred has managed to clinch.
Melfred stalls. Melfred breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Melfred feints and then cracks Lee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lee down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Melfred lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Melfred shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Melfred is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Melfred controls the pace of the fight for a moment. It looks like Melfred might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Melfred postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Melfred dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Melfred scores with a head kick. Lee tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Danielos Lee has been cut. Danielos Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Melfred closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lee to the mat! Lee manages to get full guard. Lee is trying to keep Melfred in close.
Melfred advances position into side control! Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Melfred taking a breather here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Melfred stands up and we're back to a striking position. Melfred shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Melfred lands a couple of decent looking shots. Melfred sitting in guard, not really doing much. Melfred is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Melfred gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Melfred passes into half guard. Melfred moves into full mount! Lee won't be happy about that! Lee reaches up to try and control the position but Melfred seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Lee rolls and tries to escape and now Melfred has his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Melfred is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Melfred gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Melfred gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Melfred apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Melfred rushes Lee and presses him up against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Melfred.
Lee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Melfred is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lee to the mat. Lee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Lee being controlled here, momentarily. Lee is looking to stand up but Melfred isn't so interested in that idea. Melfred lands a couple of digs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Melfred stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Drake Melfred wasn't active enough on the ground. Melfred closes the distance and clinches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Melfred lands a knee to the head.
Melfred has Lee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Melfred pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lee tumbling to the mat - Melfred dives into Lee's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Melfred content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Melfred showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Danielos Lee's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

We're now in half guard. Lee is trying to stand up here but Melfred is controlling him well. Melfred stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lee to get to his feet. Melfred tries a head kick but it misses.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard. Lee can't keep his opponent in guard - Melfred advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Melfred not doing much here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is bucking up trying to escape but Melfred cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Melfred bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Melfred is staying tight to Lee's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Melfred has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Melfred shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Melfred was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Melfred landing strikes from the mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Melfred is in the full mount, landing strikes. Melfred controlling the position easily from mount. Danielos Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Drake Melfred is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Drake Melfred comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Melfred has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
