Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Standa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Smoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smoot has chosen new York as his entrance music. Standa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Smoot!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoot cracks the inside of Standa's front leg.
Standa is breathing heavily.
Smoot pushes Standa up against the cage in a clinch.
Smoot lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Standa or not.
Smoot pulls guard effortlessly.
Standa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Smoot has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Standa is looking to defend but Smoot has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Standa! Smoot pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Standa taps out and this one is all over!
