Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Sebastiao Cardoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Sebastiao Cardoso!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardoso ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Harper gets caught flat footed, as Cardoso shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cardoso lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Cardoso throws a big right hand that misses.
Cardoso is pushing down on Harper's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harper is fighting to maintain full guard but Cardoso has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cardoso throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harper tries to kick Cardoso off but Cardoso keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cardoso passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Harper!
Cardoso landing strikes from the mount and Harper is in trouble!
It looks like Chris Harper has been cut.
Cardoso scoring with strikes but Harper is staying in there.
Chris Harper's cut is getting worse.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cardoso is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Harper is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Harper flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cardoso anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Harper and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cardoso slips an arm under Harper chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cardoso has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cardoso is squeezing on Harper like an anaconda would it's prey. Harper fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Anderson Sebastiao Cardoso!
