Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Riku Ogawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Compton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Riku Ogawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Compton! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Compton pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ogawa is out of range and Compton settles back down. Horrible takedown by Ogawa or perhaps it was just good defense by Compton which made him look bad. Nice takedown defense from Compton. No joy for Ogawa on that attempt. Compton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ogawa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Compton is fending him off so far but Ogawa persists. Nope, Compton circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riku Ogawa. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ogawa fails to land the takedown. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ogawa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Compton tries to avoid it but Ogawa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Compton to the ground. Compton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ogawa shoots in but Compton avoids the takedown attempt easily. Compton throws a sloppy head kick and Ogawa moves out of range easily. Nice sprawl there from Compton as Ogawa shoots in. Ogawa shoots in for a takedown but Compton shows good takedown defense. Ogawa fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ogawa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Compton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Compton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ogawa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ogawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Compton keeps working. Compton prevents Ogawa from moving into mount. You can see the frustration on Compton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ogawa wants to control but Compton is keeping him busy. Compton is looking for a sweep. Ogawa trying to control the action but Compton is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ogawa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Compton.
Ogawa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Compton pinned against the cage. Compton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Compton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Compton lands with a slapping head kick. Compton throws a leg kick but Ogawa moved away. Compton misses with a series of wild punches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Compton throws a series of punches but Ogawa avoids them all with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Compton dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Compton gets caught flat footed, as Ogawa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ogawa trying to control the position from guard on top but Compton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ogawa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Compton swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ogawa sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ogawa won't allow Compton to sweep him here. Ogawa controls from within his opponent's guard. Ogawa stops Compton from standing up. Ogawa content to stall in guard here. Ogawa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ogawa trying to control the position from guard on top but Compton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ogawa controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Riku Ogawa just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Ogawa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Compton stuffs the takedown attempt from Ogawa. Ogawa gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riku Ogawa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ogawa looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ogawa trying to control but Compton is working from the bottom. Ogawa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Compton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ogawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ogawa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ogawa wants to control from the top but Compton keeps moving. Compton wants to sweep but no luck. Ogawa trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Compton manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ogawa pulls Compton in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riku Ogawa dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Ogawa moves away from the strike by Compton. No luck for Ogawa with that takedown attempt. Compton is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Compton misses with a few strikes there.
Ogawa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Compton's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Compton being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ogawa tries to free his leg and advance position but Compton is retaining full guard. Ogawa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Compton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Compton has escaped and now he's on top! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Compton controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ogawa looking for a sweep. Not yet Ogawa, not yet. Compton wanted to stand there but Ogawa had control of the position. Compton wants to control from the top but Ogawa keeps moving. Ogawa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ogawa is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Riku Ogawa just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Ogawa defending well as Compton loads up on a big left hand. Ogawa slips a jab and a cross from Compton.
Ogawa scores a takedown into full mount! Ogawa controlling the position easily from mount. Ogawa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Riku Ogawa showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ogawa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
