The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rodrigues walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnson drives through and clinches with Rodrigues against the cage.
Rodrigues lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Brian Johnson has been cut.
Rodrigues lands an elbow that stopped Johnson in his tracks for a moment.
Rodrigues throws an elbow but it misses.

Rodrigues creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Johnson's defenses.

Rodrigues pushes off an throws an elbow but Johnson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Rodrigues throws an elbow but misses.
Rodrigues lands an elbow inside.
Jeez, Brian Johnson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brian Johnson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
