Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amalric Fitzgerald!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Morrison takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Morrison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morrison with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fitzgerald counters with a nice uppercut.
Fitzgerald paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fitzgerald takes a swing at Morrison's ribcage but misses.
Fitzgerald drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fitzgerald landing with the ground and pound.
Fitzgerald has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Morrison looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fitzgerald wants to control from the top but Morrison keeps moving.
Morrison striking off his back but it's not causing Fitzgerald any problems.
Morrison throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Fitzgerald stands and throws Morrison's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fitzgerald moves into full mount!
Morrison is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Fitzgerald has taken his back.

Morrison is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Fitzgerald gets his way!

Morrison breaks Fitzgerald's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Fitzgerald is looking for a triangle but Morrison pushes his legs off easily.
Morrison postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Morrison has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Fitzgerald seems keen to control Morrison's posture.
Fitzgerald has his foot on Morrison's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morrison works his way back into a safe position though.
Fitzgerald manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morrison manages to get himself to full guard.
Morrison looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fitzgerald drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Morrison manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fitzgerald has Morrison in his guard.
Fitzgerald working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morrison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morrison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fitzgerald manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morrison manages to get himself to full guard.
Morrison looking for a guillotine here but Fitzgerald defends easily.
Fitzgerald controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Fitzgerald pushes down on Morrison's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fitzgerald lands a nice short elbow.

Fitzgerald seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Morrison is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
