Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brus Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Figari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Black Dog. Paulo Figari struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figari looks for a takedown but Li sprawls well.
Figari throws a leg kick
and Li counters with a head kick. That will keep Figari thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Li lands a leg kick that knocks Figari off balance momentarily.
Figari misses with a right hand
and Li counters with a nice low kick that buckles Figari's knee momentarily.
Figari tries for a takedown but Li circles away easily
and Li counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Li keeps the fight on the outside.
Li throws a leg kick which misses Figari's front leg but catches the back leg as Figari tries to avoid it.
Li scoring well with a low kick there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Figari.
Brus Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Figari.

Nice straight punches there by Li. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Li.

Figari shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Li napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Li manages to work his way to half guard, despite Figari's best efforts.

Figari on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Li lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Li throws a head kick but Figari moves out of range.
Figari takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Li fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Li has Figari up against the cage in a clinch.
Figari's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Li jumps guard and drags Figari to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Li is adopting a defensive guard.
