Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Louie Letica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Letica comes to the cage accompanied by Bring em Out. Luiz Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Letica avoids it really well and circles away.
Letica tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Letica tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Letica closes the distance looking to clinch
and Silva counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Silva controlling from the top position.
Letica wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Silva manages to pass to side control.
Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Letica tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is trying to work for a kimura but Letica is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva prevents Letica from standing back up.
Silva wants to pass to mount but Letica is defending the position.
Silva trying to control from half guard but Letica is working away.
Letica is trying to escape back to his feet but Silva uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Silva takes a little break here. Letica wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Letica wants to get back to his feet.
Letica is breathing heavily.
Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Letica is trying to escape and Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Letica is forced to tap! Nice work there by Silva! Very nice indeed!
