Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quincy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Requiem for a Dream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quincy. Strife does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quincy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Quincy throws a sloppy head kick
and Strife holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Strife throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Quincy blocks it with crossed arms.
Strife using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Quincy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Strife's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Quincy shoots in for a double leg but Strife sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Quincy avoids the body shot from Strife.
Quincy digs a good hook to Strife's body.
Quincy lunges at Strife with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Strife's hand.
Quincy stuns Strife with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Strife moves into the clinch successfully.

Strife comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Strife will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Quincy up against the cage.
Strife fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Strife unloads a knee to the mid-section. Quincy lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Strife pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Strife lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Quincy backwards.

Strife moves out of range as Quincy strikes.
Quincy shoots for a takedown but Strife saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Quincy lunges at Strife with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Strife's hand.

Strife on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Quincy clinches with his opponent.
Quincy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Strife escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Quincy throws a sloppy head kick and Strife moves out of range easily.
Strife swats away the attempt to clinch by Quincy.
Strife throws a low kick but it's checked well by Quincy.
Quincy throws a body punch but Strife moves out of range.
Quincy tries to score with a low kick but Strife moves his leg out of the way.
Quincy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Strife doesn't seem bothered though.
Quincy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Quincy wants to pass the guard but Strife is keeping the position.

Quincy wants to control from the top but Strife keeps moving.
Quincy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Quincy trying to control the action but Strife is working from the bottom.
Quincy has hold of Strife's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Strife tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Quincy cranks the arm and Strife screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Strife, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
