Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Lind! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devin Jordan! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan doesn't manage to clinch there - Lind circles away.
Lind moves in looking to clinch but Jordan pushes him off. Jordan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jordan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lind clinches but Jordan breaks the clinch and Jordan counters with a takedown into side control. Jordan stands up and beckons Lind to his feet. Jordan avoids a low kick by using good footwork. The fight stays on the outside here - Lind looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jordan shoots in for a double leg but Lind sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lind instigates a clinch. Jordan tries to pull guard but Lind won't allow it.
Curtis Lind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Jordan. Lind wants to get back to striking at distance but Jordan won't allow it.
Jordan unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lind lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Lind is stalling here.
Jordan jumps into guard, dragging Lind to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan is wriggling around but Lind manages to pass to half guard.
Lind missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lind is working for a kimura but Jordan is defending it quite comfortably.
Lind uses his free foot to push down on Jordan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jordan. Jordan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Jordan taking shots to the head. Jordan taking shots to the head. Lind lands a heavy elbow. Lind goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jordan turns into him and now he's in Lind's guard.
Jordan throws a big right hand that misses. Jordan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lind manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jordan manages to get himself to full guard.
Jordan keeping moving, preventing Lind from controlling successfully. Jordan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lind is one step ahead there. Lind lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lind tries to free his leg and advance position but Jordan is retaining full guard. Lind has gone for a leg lock! Jordan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lind's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lind is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jordan looks gassed! Jordan postures up.
Lind escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jordan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lind wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lind is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Lind winds up and cracks Jordan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jordan actively working from the bottom here. Lind trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lind works his way into side control. Jordan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lind working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jordan is trying to work for a sweep but Lind has mounted him! Lind is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jordan wants to hold on but Lind pushes him away. Jordan manages to regain half guard. Good work. Lind looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Curtis Lind dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jordan scores with a takedown into Lind's guard. Jordan pushes down on Lind's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jordan wants to stand up but Lind is controlling the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jordan lands a nice short elbow. Lind is refusing to be controlled, as Jordan sits in half guard. Lind moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jordan wants to stand but Lind has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lind to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jordan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lind pulls down on the head and he's put Jordan to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Curtis Lind!
