Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milani Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua has chosen Armin Van Buuren - Sail as his entrance music. Milani Rua looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Milani Rua! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua swats away the attempt to clinch by Storm. Rua shoots for a takedown but Storm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Storm tries to close the distance and clinch but Rua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Storm tries to clinch but Rua moves out of range. Storm with a nice cross. Storm doesn't manage to clinch there - Rua circles away.

Storm breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Storm throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Rua looks gassed! Rua circles away from the clinch attempt and Rua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rua. A knee to the head by Storm.

It looks like Milani Rua has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Storm misses with a knee strike.
Storm digs a right hand into Rua's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rua's gas tank. Storm throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rua blocks it with crossed arms. Knees in the clinch landing for Storm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm looking to throw knees to the head but Rua is blocking nicely.

Storm looking to slow down the pace here. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Rua avoids the elbow strike from Storm, against the cage.

Rua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Storm stuffs the takedown attempt from Rua. Rua gets slowly back to his feet. Storm tries to close the distance and clinch but Rua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Storm fails in his attempt to clinch. Rua circles away from the clinch attempt and Rua counters with a nice kick to the body. Rua bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rua decides to take the fight back to the feet. A head kick by Storm misses and Rua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rua counters with a lovely straight right hand! Storm misses with an uppercut
and Rua counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Rua gets the takedown into side control. Rua working away. Rua thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Storm tries to buck Rua off but Rua is having none of it. Storm wants to control but Rua postures up. Storm tries to control but Rua manages to take his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua controlling well, preventing Storm from escaping the position.
Storm rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Rua trying to control the pace. Rua seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Storm does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Storm trying to control but Rua postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Storm moves into full guard.

Storm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Storm holds on and takes a little breather. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rua won't allow Storm to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lance Storm will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Milani Rua's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rua circles away from the clinch attempt and Rua counters with a thumping low kick. Rua misses with a few strikes there.
Rua looks to throw a body kick and Storm counters with a right hand to the body. Storm wants to clinch but Rua slips to the side and Rua counters with a nice double leg into guard. Storm looking for a sweep. Not yet Storm, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rua's guard. Storm not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Storm trying to control but Rua is working from the bottom. Rua is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rua keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. Rua looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Storm slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Storm moves into range and clinches up with Rua. Storm with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Storm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Storm scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Storm moves into the clinch successfully.

A cross from Storm lands. Storm wants to clinch and Rua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rua. Storm lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Storm lands an elbow inside. Storm scores with a nice hook to the head. Rua takes an elbow to the forehead. Storm landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Storm holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Rua passes the guard and advances to mount! Storm is in all sorts of trouble here.

Storm lands with a kick to the temple. Rua shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Storm throws a shot from downtown. Rua moves away and avoids it. Rua misses with a jab, cross combination.
Storm looks to clinch and Rua makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Storm really felt that one! Storm tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rua counters with a stiff right hand. Storm tries to clinch and Rua decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Storm's guard. Rua being controlled here momentarily. Storm has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Milani Rua has got the better of the ground game so far. Storm is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rua tries to stand but Storm is controlling from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua wants to control from the top but Storm keeps moving. Storm controls Rua momentarily but Rua frees himself. Storm wants to hit a switch here but Rua passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Storm there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Storm keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm trying desperately to get to his feet.
Storm tries to improve his position but instead Rua has taken his back! The referee is taking a good look at Storm as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Rua!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Storm is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Storm wants to escape the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rua is not going to allow Storm to sit and survive in this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Milani Rua comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Storm has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
