The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clearly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clearly darts in trying to clinch
and Fransisco counters with a left to the body.
Fransisco lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ainsley Clearly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Clearly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Fransisco counters with a series of strikes. Clearly will be more careful next time no doubt.

Clearly is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fransisco sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fransisco stalks Clearly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clearly's face. Clearly staggers backwards, shaken.

Fransisco uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Fransisco fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clearly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fransisco punishes Clearly's body with a nice straight punch.

Fransisco is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Clearly had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Clearly tries to move into range but Fransisco moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
