Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tj Sommers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Barren Earth - Deserted Morrows. Josh Burns had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Tj Sommers! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns with a poor takedown and Sommers counters with a shoot takedown. Burns fights it but they end up in guard. Sommers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burns swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sommers with a flurry of punches that miss. Burns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sommers on the ground. Sommers trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sommers prevents Burns from getting back to his feet. Sommers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sommers is looking to work some ground and pound but Burns has wrist control. Sommers throwing strikes from guard but Burns blocks nicely. Sommers trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sommers stays in close to Burns's body and controls the position. Burns working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sommers. Burns on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Burns tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sommers trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Sommers won't allow Burns to get back to his feet. Sommers wants to control from the top but Burns keeps moving. Sommers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tj Sommers wasn't active enough on the ground. Burns fails with the takedown and Sommers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burns's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sommers won't allow Burns to sweep him here. Burns is looking to sweep but instead, Sommers has passed into half guard.
Sommers slips a nice elbow through Burns's hands, connecting with Burns's forehead. Burns is trying to get back to full guard. Sommers controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sommers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Burns's head. Sommers trying to control the action but Burns is working from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Burns tries to get to full guard but Sommers has control of the leg.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tj Sommers was stalling too much, according to the referee. Burns keeps the fight on the outside. Burns fails with the takedown and Sommers counters with a head kick that drops Burns to the mat! Burns scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tj Sommers dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sommers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sommers somewhat. Burns has managed to clinch.

Burns turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Burns manages to end up in side control. Burns postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Sommers is refusing to be controlled, as Burns sits in half guard. Sommers pushes Burns off and gets back to his feet. Sommers shoots and misses and Burns counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Burns lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sommers pulls Burns in close to prevent any damage. Sommers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burns's guard. Sommers is breathing heavily. Sommers is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Sommers working some strikes from top position. Tj Sommers has got the better of the ground game so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns keeping full guard, as Sommers tries to pass. Sommers decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Burns with a poor takedown and Sommers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burns's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sommers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Burns's guard now. Burns looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tj Sommers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Josh Burns's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Burns is squirming around, avoiding Sommers's attempts to control the action.

Jeez, Josh Burns's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
