Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldi Rolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Back in Black. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronaldi Rolf!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Rolf counters with an outside leg kick.
Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rolf manages to avoid it.
Lucas Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rolf uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Black.
Black misses with a lunging right hand
and Rolf counters with a single leg into guard. Black didn't expect that.
Rolf wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.

Black has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rolf finds it's way round the side to connect with Black's head.

Black throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rolf counters with a left and a right that stings Black.
A slow jab from Black misses its intended target.
Rolf avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Black stuffs the takedown.
Rolf thows a leg kick but Black checks it
and Black counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rolf is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Black stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ronaldi Rolf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ronaldi Rolf is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Black creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Rolf counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Rolf counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Black avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Black misses with a left hand
and Rolf holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Black lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rolf backwards.
Black tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lucas Black.
Well Rolf has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
