Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hon The Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Sangre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sangre has chosen We will rock you as his entrance music. Fernando Sangre is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hon The Ninja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fernando Sangre! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sangre throws a lazy uppercut
and The Ninja moves into the clinch. Sangre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. The Ninja smiles and moves away.
The Ninja gets the takedown into side control. The Ninja stands up and beckons Sangre to his feet. The Ninja throws a hook to the side of Sangre's head but Sangre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sangre shoots and misses and The Ninja counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The Ninja looking to sit in guard and control but Sangre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The Ninja lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sangre! The Ninja stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sangre misses with a takedown attempt and The Ninja counters with a single leg into guard. Sangre didn't expect that. Hon The Ninja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernando Sangre. Sangre wants to stand and escape but The Ninja is having none of it. The Ninja gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sangre with a lazy takedown attempt and The Ninja counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sangre won't be happy with that. Sangre is trying to get back to his feet. The Ninja working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Ninja decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Ninja throws a right and a left that Sangre avoids nicely. Sangre has his takedown stuffed and The Ninja counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Ninja. The Ninja passes Sangre's left leg - he's now in half guard. The Ninja seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sangre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Ninja is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sangre defends it well. The Ninja throwing shots but Sangre is blocking nicely. The Ninja drops an elbow to the side of Sangre's head. The Ninja stands up from half guard. No joy there for Sangre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The Ninja shoots in and gets a takedown into Sangre's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Ninja sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sangre's guard. The Ninja seems to be looking for submissions.
Sangre is trying to maintain the position but The Ninja is very close to passing his half guard. The Ninja prevents Sangre from improving his position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Ninja is trying to control the action in half guard but Sangre is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hon The Ninja dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

It looks like Hon The Ninja has been cut. The Ninja clinches up against the cage. The Ninja manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The Ninja scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sangre shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and The Ninja counters with a one-two to the body. Hon The Ninja is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sangre misses with a combination
and The Ninja counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sangre won't be happy with that. Hon The Ninja overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sangre is not content to let The Ninja control the position. The Ninja is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sangre is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sangre is looking to regain half guard here but The Ninja keeps moving and retains side control. The Ninja wants to control but Sangre is keeping him busy. A control attempt from Sangre but he's now mounted! The Ninja tries to control but Sangre wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sangre is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The Ninja can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sangre is looking to escape. The Ninja controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Ninja is standing up, even though he is in mount. Sangre with a poor takedown and The Ninja counters with a nice double leg into guard. The Ninja pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sangre is keeping the position for now. The Ninja sitting in guard, not really doing much. The Ninja thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Ninja might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Ninja wants to control from the top but Sangre keeps moving. Sangre wants to control the position but The Ninja says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Sangre looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sangre wants to get back to full guard but The Ninja has passed into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hon The Ninja dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Hon The Ninja's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Sangre gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and The Ninja counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Ninja. The Ninja is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The Ninja is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sangre can do to turn this around? The Ninja drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The Ninja jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sangre is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sangre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sangre cracks The Ninja with a solid left hand.

The Ninja keeping moving, preventing Sangre from controlling successfully. The Ninja controlling the position. Sangre working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sangre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Ninja swivels though and keeps the full guard. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sangre misses with a takedown attempt and The Ninja counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Ninja. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Ninja stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sangre swinging wildly here.

Sangre missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The Ninja looking for a sweep. Not yet The Ninja, not yet. The Ninja has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sangre off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Sangre throws a combination that misses and The Ninja moves into the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Sangre fails to land. Sangre misses with a hook to the ribs.

The Ninja wants to sweep here but Sangre controlling him for the moment. Sangre throws and elbow that misses. The Ninja uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sangre's guard. Nice move by The Ninja!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sangre controls The Ninja momentarily but The Ninja frees himself. The Ninja forces his way into half guard. Sangre trying to control but The Ninja postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The Ninja content to control rather than advance.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fernando Sangre. Sangre misses with a combination
so The Ninja counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Ninja drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sangre looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sangre looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sangre!
And that's the end of the fight! Hon The Ninja showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for The Ninja, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
