Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rube Lukas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Lovelace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rube Lukas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nigel Lovelace!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovelace is looking to land body kicks.
Lukas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lovelace as he jumps to the side.
Lukas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lukas shoots for a takedown but Lovelace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lovelace should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lovelace pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lukas cracks Lovelace with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lovelace moves into the clinch.
Lovelace stops a takedown attempt from Lukas.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rube Lukas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lukas wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lukas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lukas breaks the clinch.
Lovelace misses with a head kick.
Lukas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lovelace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lukas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lukas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lovelace pulls Lukas in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lukas controlling from the top position.
Lukas has gone for a leg lock! Lovelace slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lukas's guard.
Lukas wants to get back to his feet but Lovelace is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lukas is breathing heavily.
Lovelace preventing the sweep.
Lovelace tries to free his leg and advance position but Lukas is retaining full guard.
Lovelace is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lukas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lovelace has his hands clasped together but Lukas extends an breaks Lovelace's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lukas.
