Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Starks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Starks's choice of entrance music: Ich + Ich - Stark. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Hitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Starks!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starks takes a swing at Hitz's ribcage but misses.
Starks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Starks manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hitz on his heels. He'll look to pass Hitz's guard now, I'm sure.
Hitz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Starks trying to control the position from guard on top but Hitz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hitz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Starks defends it easily.
Hitz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Starks manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Starks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hitz is one step ahead there.
Hitz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Starks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Starks avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hitz trying to control but Starks is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hitz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Starks has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hitz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hitz postures up.
Starks lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hitz!
Starks looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hitz tries to lock up and control but Starks gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hitz looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Starks working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Hitz is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Starks has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Hitz taps out!
