Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The Boss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arg Fight Club (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boss is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fight Club tries to clinch but Boss moves away and Boss counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Boss is breathing heavily. Fight Club keeps control of the position for the meantime. Fight Club slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fight Club not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fight Club drops back looking for a leg! Boss is in trouble here! OK we're going to have a standup here. Arg Fight Club hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Fight Club tries to clinch but fails miserably and Boss decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fight Club's guard. Fight Club is trying to keep Boss in close.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Arg Fight Club hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Fight Club moves in looking to clinch but Boss pushes him off.

Fight Club has control of Boss's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Boss regains control of the situation pretty easily.

He's now in Boss's guard. Nice move by Fight Club! Fight Club is pushing down on Boss's leg trying to pass to half guard. Boss is fighting to maintain full guard but Fight Club has managed to sneak the leg through. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boss is refusing to be controlled, as Fight Club sits in half guard. Fight Club is looking for a kimura but Boss is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fight Club to get the leverage. Fight Club seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boss does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Boss wants to control but Fight Club is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fight Club looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Boss is defending against the submission attempts here by Fight Club.
