The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flinn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barlow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Flinn is in Barlow's guard.
Flinn is in close to Barlow's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Flinn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Flinn thows a big elbow that misses.
Barlow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flinn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Flinn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Barlow's head.

Barlow wants to stand and escape but Flinn is having none of it.
Flinn slips nicely into half guard.
Flinn is taking a breather. Barlow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Flinn working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flinn looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Barlow is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flinn is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Barlow is hurt! He's hurt bad - Flinn fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Barlow from any more punishment! Congratulations to Flinn! Great finish!
