Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yrjo Jarvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Creed Bratton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarvinen comes into the arena with Frederik - Harva meistä on rautaa blaring out of the sound system. Bratton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Best Of Creed. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yrjo Jarvinen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Creed Bratton! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bratton moves in looking to clinch but Jarvinen pushes him off. Jarvinen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bratton on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jarvinen misses with a takedown attempt and Bratton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bratton. Jarvinen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bratton postures up.
Bratton throws a strike but Jarvinen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bratton keeping moving, preventing Jarvinen from controlling successfully. Jarvinen tries to free his leg and advance position but Bratton is retaining full guard. Jarvinen trying to control the position from guard on top but Bratton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bratton wants to sweep here but Jarvinen controlling him for the moment. Bratton trying to control the position.
Jarvinen drops back looking for a leg! Bratton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bratton manages to kick Jarvinen off! Jarvinen jumps back into Bratton's guard. Bratton is trying to keep Jarvinen in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jarvinen with a flurry of punches that miss. Bratton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jarvinen is controlling him. Jarvinen thows a big elbow that misses. Jarvinen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jarvinen preventing the sweep. Bratton is trying to keep Jarvinen in close.
Jarvinen works over Bratton with some ground and pound from guard. Jarvinen throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarvinen tries to free his leg and advance position but Bratton is retaining full guard. Jarvinen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bratton looking for a sweep. Not yet Bratton, not yet. Bratton pulls Jarvinen in close to prevent any damage. Jarvinen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bratton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bratton has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bratton is looking to stand up but Jarvinen won't let him. Bratton trying to control but Jarvinen is working from the bottom. Jarvinen trying to control the position.
Jarvinen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bratton is one step ahead there. Bratton looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yrjo Jarvinen will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jarvinen misses with a takedown and Bratton counters with a nice uppercut. Jarvinen looks to clinch and Bratton counters by moving into the clinch. Bratton prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jarvinen lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Creed Bratton has been cut. Jarvinen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bratton.
Jarvinen has Bratton pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Bratton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yrjo Jarvinen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bratton decides to pull guard. Jarvinen with a flurry of punches that miss. Bratton is looking to sweep but instead, Jarvinen has passed into half guard.
Jarvinen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bratton sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bratton trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jarvinen is keen to just control but Bratton is a slippery customer. Jarvinen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bratton defending well though. Bratton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jarvinen postures up in Bratton's guard and throws a big left but Bratton blocks it. Jarvinen is in close to Bratton's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Jarvinen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bratton is trying to keep Jarvinen in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bratton keeping moving, preventing Jarvinen from controlling successfully. Jarvinen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bratton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jarvinen prevents Bratton from getting back to his feet. Bratton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jarvinen misses with a body punch
and Bratton counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A shot in the inside from Bratton. Bratton has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jarvinen is trying to keep an underhook but Bratton manages to get the takedown into half guard. Jarvinen trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bratton is trying to control the action in half guard but Jarvinen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jarvinen is trying to get back to full guard. Jarvinen trying to control here.
Jarvinen is pressing down on Bratton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bratton scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bratton trying to control but Jarvinen is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Creed Bratton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Creed Bratton's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Bratton gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jarvinen wants to get back to striking at distance but Bratton won't allow it.

Jarvinen misses with a kick to the body and Bratton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jarvinen's guard now. Bratton forces his way into half guard. Jarvinen wants to sweep but Bratton has passed to side control! Bratton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jarvinen keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bratton gets to mount! Jarvinen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bratton with a couple of short strikes. Bratton prevents Jarvinen from getting the reversal. Bratton is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jarvinen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jarvinen! Jarvinen trying to control but Bratton is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bratton has his feet on Jarvinen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Jarvinen connects with a jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Bratton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jarvinen's waist but Jarvinen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bratton off to one side. Jarvinen just misses with a punch to the body.
Bratton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jarvinen. Jarvinen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bratton's sensitive parts. Jarvinen scores with a body shot.
Bratton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jarvinen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bratton napping and manages to drive through into side control! Jarvinen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarvinen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bratton has escaped the position, nice work there. Bratton manages to get back to half guard. Jarvinen scoring with strikes to the body and head. Jarvinen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bratton's head. Bratton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bratton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jarvinen. Bratton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jarvinen scores with a couple of nice shots. Bratton makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bratton. Jarvinen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bratton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jarvinen looking to sit in guard and control but Bratton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Creed Bratton has got the better of the ground game so far. Jarvinen has a closed guard, preventing Bratton from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yrjo Jarvinen. I think Jarvinen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
